The most beautiful basketball stories start with a dream and a basketball. With faith, devotion, appetite for work and the top as the only goal. Euroleague legend Theo Papaloukas had such a dream when he started the collaboration with Leonteios School of Athens, in order to create a high-quality basketball academy in Athens.
One year after the birth of this new project, «Eurohoops Academy Leonteiou» is created. A new name that defines a new era, aiming at individual and team development, utilizing the best possible means, so that the athletes can show off their talent and star in a championship environment.

In the heart of Athens (Neygi 17, 111 43, Athens), the modern basketball court of Leonteios School is a real basketball oasis. High-quality equipment, proper lighting, the right temperature in every season, safety and tranquility, offer the best setting for enjoyable evenings of hoops between friends.
Eurohoops Academy Leonteios provides refurbished and fully equipped basketball courts to meet the needs of its athletes. Specifically, it provides the impressive indoor 380-seat stadium, a recently refurbished indoor court, as well as 3 outdoor courts.
Be part of the team: The ball at your hands
The new era of the Eurohoops Academy Leonteiou has as its main goal to highlight young talented athletes who will star and evolve through a solid basketball project. For this reason, the men’s division will be staffed mainly by young athletes born from 2000 to 2003, who will have the opportunity to compete, develop and stand out on the court, claiming their personal development in a championship environment.
“Eurohoops Academy Leonteios” invites athletes to become members of a competitive team, which will focus on the development of each player individually, with the aim of shaping high-level athletes who will have the opportunity to star.
New training project with a personalized approach
The experienced coaching staff of the academy has prepared a new pilot program that has as its main goal the development of each athlete individually. The training process will include individual technical development training, as well as a specialized program of functional and neuromuscular adaptation and development.
Each athlete will be in the spotlight as a separate development unit, with regular monitoring of his progress. Each athlete will have his own plan, through which his training will be directed and his individual development will be guided.
